About Saybrook UMC
Our Church has been serving the Saybrook Community for over 200 years.
We are a group of committed people trying to live by our motto “People trying to live like Jesus”.
We are constantly trying to reach out to our community by bringing events that allow us to show God’s love through fellowship and service.

If you know anyone who might need help call the church @ 440-969-1562 or contact Judy Richards @ 440-969-1428 We start the interview process in November and have a great time handing out food, gifts, and clothing the week before Christmas. If you are interested in donating or helping to fill the families cars feel free to contact us for information.
Strawberry Festival – Come and enjoy a great meal. We offer hot dogs/chili dogs, sloppy joys, baked beans, potato salad, and pop, but don’t forget to save room for our homemade strawberry shortcake because it is simply delicious! We also have homemade strawberry pies, but don’t wait until the end of the festival to come as these scrumptious pies sell out in a hurry! We hope to see you for this evening of fun, food, and fellowship.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) – Vacation Bible School is an exciting time for our children, when our church is transforms into the theme of the year. Our church may be a ranch complete with straw or a tropical rain-forest complete with an active volcano. No matter what transformation our church goes through we bring to life and teach God’s love through meaningful Bible verses, Bible points, and Bible stories.
Basement Sale – Who can’t resist a garage sale especially in November. Our men’s group organizes this event so that our church members can clean out their houses of unwanted items and bring them to the church for a huge sale. You never know what treasures await you so don’t miss this event at our church.
